Children's book
We all grieve when we have to let our beloved pets go. But it can be particularly difficult for children to process their feelings of grief. The death of a family pet is often the first experience of grief for children. Deep feelings, pain, confusion, anger or despair can shake children's hearts.
To give them some support – possibly even before their beloved pet dies – we have created a children's book that addresses this very topic of the death of a beloved pet and explains it in language that children can understand.
We are happy to give the book to families with children who bring their deceased family member to us. In this way, we want to offer support in the grieving process for the whole family.
The booklet is now available in German and French.
