Horse cremation
As the well-known saying goes, the happiness of this Earth lies on the back of a horse. Horses are our faithful friends for many years, whether as our sporting companions, or our strong and sensitive pets. Unfortunately, every life ultimately has to come to an end. In our horse crematorium sites in Switzerland, we can prepare a dignified final farewell as we are the only provider in Switzerland to offer respectful horse cremation services.
Our horse crematorium sites in Kirchberg BE and Küssnacht am Rigi are peaceful places where you can grieve openly. We meet you with sincere compassion and respect, because every life deserves a dignified final farewell. Horse cremation is a token of appreciation and love for the priceless moments shared.
Horse cremation
Horses and other equines – ponies, zebras, donkeys and mules – have been our constant companions for countless centuries.
Saying goodbye to your beloved horse is hard. When it leaves us, our grief is great. What remains behind with us is a grateful memory. More and more horse owners cannot imagine their beloved animals ending up at the horse butcher or in a large animal rendering plant (GZM Extraktionswerk AG Lyss or TMF Extraktionswerk AG Bazenheid) after their death, where they are then processed into animal by-products. Horse lovers want to know what happens to their horses after they die.
We are your trusted contact if you’d like to have your beloved horse individually cremated. We at ROSENGARTEN devote all our energies to you and your wishes, drawing on all our experience and personal grief counselling.
If your horse has died, you can also contact us on weekends and public holidays to arrange collection. You can reach us by phone 365 days a year.
On site, you can say goodbye to your horse for the last time in a private setting, we will sensitively accompany you on this journey. Since each horse is cremated individually, you are free to decide on where to keep the ashes. You can choose whether to keep them in a beautiful horse urn or to scatter them in nature. Tail hair and part of the ashes are also processed into individual pieces of jewellery on request, allowing you to wear the memory of your beloved horse close to your heart. The cost of the horse cremation is calculated according to the horse’s weight.
